Rachel's first teaching project for 2012 will be at Kensington Palace who have invited her to lead a masterclass. It will be held in their learning centre art room which overlooks the palace entrance and grounds. Students will learn key sugar craft techniques before decorating their own cake to take home. Rachel's class projects will be inspired by the new Kensington Palace exhibition on Queen Victoria giving the day a highly design led atmosphere. All tools and materials supplied including boxed rich fruit cake. Suitable for beginners.

Rachel returns to the V&A to lead a Winter 6 wk term of sugar craft evening classes as part of the Power Of Making season. Her favourite V&A galleries will inspire weekly projects giving the course a highly design led atmosphere. In the final two classes students will have a private evening tour of the galleries before designing and decorating their own unique Christmas cake to take home. All tools and materials supplied including boxed rich fruit cake. Suitable for beginners.

Rachel will demonstrate a range sugar craft techniques teaching & inspiring students to decorate their own unique cake to take home. Class projects will be inspired by the elegance, eccentricity and decadence of the Aesthetic era. All tools and materials supplied including boxed Madagascan Vanilla sponge cake with butter cream.
